She lifts up the mask to reveal the truth and everyone gasps. It's a surprise to all of them. To the world she was one thing, to herself she was another. Neither ever touched, for she feard the worst if one was revealed to the other. So she went on like that for quite sometime.
Being one, thinking as another. Trying to forget what the first had said. Trying to remember what the second was thinking. But one day. When neither of them was expecting it, they looked in the mirror while the mask was still on.

At first they were frightened. Is that really what we look like? They tried to push the encounter out of their heads. Tried to ignore it. But try as they might, the memory of eachother stayed in their head like a photograph permanantly glued to their eyelids.

And so they planned, together, a meeting. Not only for themselves, but for the world. They wanted to become what they were in the begining. One. A single person. No mask, no mirror. Just eachother. Just a person Meeting what they feared the most and making friends with themself.
